Craig,
Sorry for your loss. I only knew your dad from a few stories you told while we worked together. Your love for him was evident. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Joe was a caring man. I have many happy memories of Joe tinkering on his Pontiac and every imaginable gadget, to allowing us kids to gather in the basement to play cards and to just talking with us about everything. My direction in life may have been a worse direction if it had not been for the many times he and Delores spent just talking with us and showing interest in us kids in general. He and Delores have played a very special part in my life. Joe gave us a role model which any of us would do well to follow.

Worked with Joe at I&M. One of the nicest persons I have ever known. Rest in peace Joe.

How my dad, Homer Smeltzer, loved Burl. He was his best friend, and I can just see them in heaven right now cracking jokes. God bless you all.

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Longardner late in life but the ornery sparkle in his eyes was still bright. He led a remarkable life and most importantly, raised two amazing men who continue to pass along his life lessons to their sons. My heartfelt sympathies to the Longardner family and friends.
