Tribute & Message From The Family

Glen O. Hamilton, 89, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Glen was the son of the late Merle and Edna Hamilton. Glen attended Ben Davis High School but was forced to drop out to support his family after his father was injured and unable to work. Many folks told him that he would never amount to anything if he did not graduate. Those words were motivation for Glen as he started Hamilton Brothers Construction and developed several neighborhoods on Indianapolis west side. He owned Keystone Industrial Park in Fort Wayne, Fair Mufflers, and Keystone Building Products. This was for certain, Glen loved to work. Glen was a member of the Eagles, Moose, and Builders Association. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, traveling around the United States with his wife in their RV, and wintering in Florida. In his younger years, Glen was also a pilot and owned several air planes. Surviving are his wife, Eula Hamilton; children, Peggy (Paul) Morlan of Avon, Skip Hamilton of Laotto, Daryl (Patricia) Hamilton of Mooresville; step daughter, Carol (Larry) Perkins of Fort Wayne; 6 grandchildren; 1 step granddaughter; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 step great grandson.
