I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Auline at the Towne House for over 20 years. She was one of the most remarkably good people I have ever met, always kind and caring, giving of her time and herself to every life she touch. She was a shining example of the hope of glory. I pray for comfort for her family and friends.

My roommate at Parkview school of nursing. You will be missed

I had the distinct honor of being Auline's Accompanist at choir school for several years. When I moved to Indiana from Illinois I stayed with the Nybergs a couple of days while my apartment was readied. She was a very kind and generous lady. Also she was very talented. A very dear soul.

We introduced Allan and Auline on a blind date while she was still in nurses training and it took. She was our dearest friend all through the years. Our second daughter bears her name as a middle name. WE have laughed and cried together through many occaisions and sang and played the piano together. Our three children were born just months apart. I could go on forever telling of the many times we spent together so it is with great sadness we must say good by for now.. WE have shared our love for the Lord together many times and know that one day we will be in heaven with them and we will laugh and remember all the wonderful times we shared here on earth. There is sadness in death but there is also the joy of knowing it is just a breath away from saying hello again. Love you Auline my dear friend. Richard and Shirley

Auline was such a comfort to me when I lost my mother. She was always there to listen and give a hug when I needed one, which was often over the many years we were neighbors. And she was there for me last summer during the difficult time of auctioning my house. We cried together and hugged one last time before I moved to Florida, vowing to keep in touch. We did...but not enough. I will miss her! Not only was she a great neighbor but a friend. I hate that I won't be able to come home to honor her. Rich, Roger, and Rachelle, I'm so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother

Auline was a friend in Harlan High School and we were active in MYF. I saw Art in Sarasota last Tuesday and asked him to pass on my best wishes. RIP dear friend.

For years, Auline and I shared ideas and tips about our short red hair. She was always so engaging and sincere. Loved her gift of music. She will be missed.

I am so grateful to Auline for being such a wonderful niece to my grandmother Bertha (nee Fisher), cousin to my mother Emmajean Hagerty Bourquin and aunt Ruth Hagerty Kortz, and a role model to me. She embodied a generosity of spirit that will always inspire me. Rest in peace dear Auline. Love, condolences, and good memories to all of the family.

Dearest Rachelle,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Not only do I have many memories of her hospitality when we were young playmates, but also recently, she would always stop by and give me a big hug when I was visiting in Blackhawk. She loved her Lord and family passionately and will be greatly missed!

She was one of a kind. I'll never forget her devotion to cousin Tom Koch after his horrible accident with three other electricians (including my dad and Tom Harris.) But, there was Auline-a person of hope, peace and healing. She is going to be missed.

I loved her...feisty, loving, always supportive of me. She was a hard worker, a woman of deep faith and so loved singing. One might think that second cousins are not that close, but we always felt a bond that could not be explained. As I said.....I loved her. Sing to your heart's content in eternity, Auline. What I would give for just one more conversation.

Rich, Rachelle, Roger and the rest of the family.
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom and a dear friend to so many. I had the pleasure of knowing Auline from the time I moved to Ft. Wayne 22 years ago and was honored to be able to sing in Joyful Noise under her direction as well as Chords when they reformed the group. Her smile and humor are unforgettable and I will miss her dearly. We know she is in a better place but her presence on this earth will leave a void to many.
God Bless all of you

Dear Rich, Roger, and RachelleWe Mourn and Honor your Beloved Mother Auline, along with her many friends. We are most grateful to have been touched in a very special way by her loving friendship and kindness, her vast medical expertise and knowledge, and her God-Given Angel Voice. Auline gave tribute to so many of us through her unique and expressive gift of sacred song; her glorious voice will linger with us Forever. Along with her Lord, her loving family and friends who passed before her were also beside Auline to guide and welcome her into the Gates of Heaven. Auline will always have a very special place in our Hearts. Bruce and I fondly recall the wonderful bond of friendship and song we gratefully shared along with your Dear Mother while in The Chancel Choir, Joyful Noise, and Chords Vocal Ensemble to praise and honor the gift of Jesus Christ. Auline above all lived a godly life; she was a good and faithful servant to our Lord, her family and friends, and we were most fortunate to be along with her through the journey of her blessed life. Dear Family, may you all feel love, support, and comfort from family and friends during this difficult time of mourning. Your steadfast faith in God will provide strength to face life without your Beloved Mother, knowing she is with our merciful Lord in Heaven, where there is no pain or sorrow, and where one of her favorite songs, Then Came The Morning welcomed her into her Heavenly Home. We pray that peace, hope, and love will guide your future.

Rachelle, Roger, Richard,
and cousins Arthur, Sharon, Edwin & families,

Unfortunately we're in Florida and won't be able to attend final services for your beloved mother and sister.

Janet and I want you to know how sorry we are for your loss.
Your mother / sister was one of the most caring, kind and compassionate person ever !!

Our good Lord JESUS called her home to his Kingdom of ETERNITY for her faithful service to him and many mortals on earth before joining your father and others gone before her in Heavenly Peace.

No doubt you will miss her in this life, but be assured our memories of her will never fade within our hearts.

Dear Rachelle, Rich and Roger,
It is with great sadness that we have lost your Mother and a great friend to many of us. She was a huge part of my life growing up in the church. Han and I loved her very much. We had many wonderful times together. She was so full of life and love. She had a giving spirit and would do anything to help anyone. Thank you for sharing her for many years as a friend and mentor. She was family and will be missed greatly. Love, Jane Zwienink Thompson

My sympathy to Rich, Roger and Rachelle. Auline was so proud of all her children.
I have so many memories of quick little trips over to see Auline to be sure she was okay and to take garden veggies to her. She was truly a friend to everyone and a great neighbor. She loved and missed Al so much and they are together now. Our neighborhood will not be the same without her. Rest in peace sweet lady. I love you.

Auline was more than just a neighbor. She was mentor, close friend, care giver, and such a loving and caring human. We met her in September 1989 as we moved into our home next to her and Allan. We discovered in 1994 just how how impactful Auline would be in our lives . My wife had been fighting Melanoma for 13 years & it had reached her brain finally . Sandie died on September 9,1994 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Auline was our Angel on earth helping us during this terrible ordeal. So, we have always felt that God chose that house for us to be close to Auline and Allan in our darkest period. We love you Auline

My heartfelt sympathy to all. May you feel God's comfort and peace. She lived her entire life to be welcome to heaven by Jesus, Allan, and so many family and friends to sing in the angels choir. She was an amazing lady. She made me welcome into the extended Fisher family. She shared her faith and that bond was one that I will always cherish. She is a blessing to all of you.

Art, Sharon, Ed, Rich, Roger, and Rachelle: My deepest sympathy to all of you. We were high school classmates and friends for 70 years. Although 600 miles separated us, when we got together it was like there was no separation. I will also miss her, but let's find comfort in knowing she is in a good place with her beloved Al singing with all her heart and soul. Love to you all. Dot

Met Auline at Epworth Forest Choir School many years ago yet those memories are still vivid in my mind; singing in the group our voices all mixing it was glorious! Auline would try out for Showboat and she would shine! I would always enjoy her voice. My mother passed in 2015 and I miss her every day. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Let God Be With You With At This Time Of Need! God Bless You All! Love In Christ!
