Irmgard Charlotte Minna Barnhart (Seele) joined her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2018, cared for by loving family at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the only daughter of Frederick and Sophie (Vogt) Seele. She was preceded to Heaven by her beloved husband, Ronald L. Barnhart and is survived by four children, Ronda (Don) Kissling, Lori (Kirk) Grable of Carmel, IN, Lisa (Tom) Patten, Fred (Andrew Wanek) of Chicago, IL; grandchildren: Erin, Kate, Jessica, Dustin, Daniel, Clinton, Gaia; and great grandchildren: Devin, Kinsley, Tucker, Grifinn. She also leaves behind cherished cousins: Bud, Cheryl, Mark, and Linda; her dear sister in Christ, Dorcas; and treasured friends: Ina, Char, Marge and Eileen. She attended school at Bingen, IN; Bethlehem Lutheran Grade School; Concordia H.S.; and Concordia Teachers College. She loved being a homemaker and the home she made was Gemutlichkeit, filled with love, laughter and faith. She also loved teaching as a kindergarten teacher at Mt. Calvary Lutheran School, a Sunday School Teacher at Bethlehem Lutheran Grade School, and a Girl Scout Leader. Auf Wiedersehen, Mutti! Service is 11:00 am, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at D. O. My heart goes out to all of the Barnhart Family. Losing two loved ones in such a short time must be very difficult, but the thought of a joyful reunion in heaven for Ron & Irmgard should provide a sense of peace and comfort. Hugs to all!
