Evelyn Lucille Timme, age 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Sunday May 19, 2019 surrounded by her family. Evelyn was born June 15, 1924 in Fort Wayne, to the late Theodore Gephart and Velma (Heath) Voght. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for many years. Evelyn was very passionate about sewing, gardening, cooking, reading the bible and singing. She watched the 3ABNetwork and was a member with the Guiding Light for the blind. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Pam (John) Crick and Teresa (David) Myers; grandchildren, Kelly (Carissa) Deck, Michele (Timothy) Wegrecki, Lori (Mike) Remenicky, Wendy (Bill) McKinley, and Morgan Minor; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Will, Colton, McKayla, Clayton, Tierra; brother, Keith (Sharon) Gephart; nephews, Jeff (Shelley) Rigdon, Phillip (Jamelyn) Rigdon, and Chris (Lilia) Rigdon; and granddaughter in-law, Tobitha Brooke. She was proceeded in passing by her husband, Walter W. Timme; grandson, Christopher Crick; brother, Bill Gephart; and sister in-law, Sharon Rigdon. A funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46815 with visitation two hours prior. Burial at Concordia Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The Seventh-Day Adventist Church or Heartland Hospice.
