Linda Lou "Nini" Frank, 77, passed away on June 21, 2019. She was born on November 24, 1941 in Columbia City, IN, the daughter of the late Leroy and Dortha Putnam. Linda graduated with the first class from Columbia City High School. She raised her family, then went to work at the Yellow Pages for a time before retiring and continuing to care for her mother, husband, and son. She enjoyed spending time with her friends of which friendships dated back to High School. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, and making sure her family tried them all. She was very involved with her family and grandchildren, and made memories that will last a lifetime. She also cherished her cats, Cinnamon and Starbucks, who brought her a lot of joy. Linda was dubbed as "Nini" when her grand daughter, Shelby couldn't say "grandma", it was a name that stuck for the rest of her life. Caring about people as if they were her own was her main goal in life. She will be remembered for being giving and having a big heart. She is survived by her son, Martin John (Dana) Frank; and grandchildren, Emma Magnolia, Shelby Marie, Aubrey Nichole, and Austin Montgomery "Snowflake" Frank. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. John Frank Jr., sons, Montgomery "Monty" G. Frank and Matthew S. Frank; sister, Joanna J. Peirce, and brother, Jerald W. Putnam. Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1pm. Burial will take place in St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
