Martha Elizabeth Giant, 85, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born in Decatur, IN, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Bremerkamp) Laurent. She married Don Giant May 24th, 1952. She was a woman of faith, had the gift of hospitality, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cared endlessly for her loving family. Surviving are her children, Kevin (Suzy) Giant of Fort Wayne; Colette (Tim) Betts of Hicksville, OH; Michelle (Kevin) Guy of South Bend, IN: Kent (Chris) Giant of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Ann Mickelini of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Don E. Giant; her parents; brother, Bob; sister Jane Aspy; and brother John. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling an hour prior to the Mass. Calling at - D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Tuesday, November 7, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery New Haven, Indiana.
